The Basilica Cistern
I'm a little embarrassed to say that I hadn't heard of the Basilica Cistern until reading Dan Brown's Inferno last month, but am I glad I did. Definitely one of the most unique places we visited, the cistern was constructed 1500 (!!) years ago.
