Tour of the City of Oxford

Here are some of the highlights of what I saw on a guided tour of the city of Oxford:

A plaque recognizing the work of Robert Boyle and Robert Hooke.

A statue of Cecil Rhodes, the man who endowed the Rhodes Scholarships

The Radliffe Camera, part of the Bodleian Library

Bodeian Library

The initials TB to recognize the founder of the Bodleian Library, Thomas Bodley

Note the carvings of the Muses on top of what was the original building of the Oxford University Press.

The Bridge of Sighs, named for a similar bridge in Venice

Outside the Sheldonian Theatre
